Under my GNOME outreach Programme for Women internship (I was the first Graphic Designer from Slovenia to get that internship) I designed over 500 symbolic icons, including status, action, category, emblem, emoticon, and application icons for GNOME, and full sets of icons for Art Libre and Inkscape. I worked under magnificent mentor Jakub Steiner.

The new UI themes accompanied by symbolic icons were later released in the 2.9.4 version of GIMP (missing icons were completed by Klaus Staedtler).
